To welcome the new season, Cindy has again set up a charming corn shock, stalks provided courtesy of our good friends and farming neighbors. The fall equinox has come and gone quietly, the sun slipping south, and the morning’s air brings enough of a chill to make the morning coffee’s warmth feel good in my hand.

Our Brides, in the spirit of the season, decorate for their special day also with Mums and pumpkins, their colors seeming to welcome the cooler days and the harvesting of the surrounding crops. When the sun sets on their wedding day, it paints the river a soft orange, as the hues of the sky join in, all matching the color of the changing tree leaves.
